Kaydence's 2nd Birthday and update

I am so behind on my blog it is ridiculous! haha! AND my camera broke so this blog wont have any pictures.... Sorry!
Kaydence turned two the end of January and it was so much fun! We stayed here in Ephraim and celebrated with our little family. I had decorated the house and blew up 20 balloons and had them through out the house for when she woke up! When she got up she saw everything and said, "ahhh wow!" The prefect reaction! I made her a Minnie Mouse pancake for breakfast, gave her a bubble bath and then dressed her up in her birthday outfit with her tutu! She would twirl around and dance and say, "I pretty" :) It was so cute! Then i took her to Kents to get two helium birthday balloons (this girl LOVES balloons). For lunch we met Britt at McDonald's and let her play in the play-land for an hour. When we got home I put on Mickey Mouse and she played with her balloons and danced in her tutu. While I was decorating her cake I went to check on her and she had passed out on the beanbag while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! haha! She never does that :) Just so much birthday fun I guess. I finished the cake and cleaned up the house as quietly as I could then relax until she got up. We then had pizza for dinner and had cake and ice cream! She LOVED blowing out her candle! I think we re lit it 10 times!!! She had a great day and it was nice to be home and not be stressed out about a party :) Later we had parties with my family and Britt's family so this lucky girl got 3 parties! :) I am so thankful for such a sweet, fun, energetic, spunky, hilarious, healthy little girl! She brings so much happiness in our home!!! We love you Kaydence Maree!!!
She is developing quite the personality! A couple little stories are whenever she has something in her hand and I ask for it she will throw it over her shoulder and say, "where'd it go?" At first it first it was cute but lately not so much! The other night we were getting ready for bed and I sat her on the kitchen counter to brush her teeth and this was the conversation,
Me: Ok its time to brush your teeth!
Kaydence: Why?
Me: Because its good for your teeth and we do it everynight!!!
Kaydence: (in a sweet quiet voice) is nassy!
I tried so hard not to laugh but obviously I did! We still haven't gotten new toothpaste but I just love this little memory!
She is really into Disney movies and right now she loves Cinderella, Peter Pan and Sleeping Beauty!!! If you try to sing along at any part she will tell you to be quiet by putting her finger over her lips or yours :) She is talking so much clearer now and I love hearing the funny things she says!
We have also been doing a website starfall.com and it is helping her learn the alphabet! She knows the letters, A B C D E F H I K O P Y Z :) She also has the Fridge phonics letters and she will flip the letter I on its side and say"H" haha
I cant wait for warmer weather so we can go to the park and on walks and just play outside! I love playing outside and so does she!
Britt and I are about the same :) We're boring haha!
Family news is my little brother Alex got his mission call to Paris, France and leaves May 30th!
We got a nephew in November, Brody and a niece in January, Reagan! We will get a nephew in May, Porter and a niece or nephew in August and September!! So many cousins for Kaydence!!! We are just growing and growing!!! Kaydence and I are going to visit my sister in Minnesota in August for a couple weeks and cannot wait!

Tis' the Season to be Over :)

Well we survived it... The Football season anyway :) and by we I mean me and Kaydence haha! Snow College Badgers finished the season with the record of 9-3!! I am soo proud of Britt and the other coaches!! It wasn't an easy season but they stuck to it and battled the whole time. After losing to Eastern Arizona 41-14 and losing 8 players to suspension for two games they played their hearts out and battled all odds to only having 3 loses! When we got the word that we were going to play Eastern in the Top of the Mountain Bowl I was pretty disappointed at first. I was hoping to play a team who wasn't so openly arrogant and completely full of themselves but after beating them 36-9 I feel a lot better and am happy the team got to redeem themselves!!! It fired up the players and motivated them to get the WIN! It was exciting to also watch family play with the Badgers, Joe Summers and Garland Munns! They both did very well and will be back next season. GO BADGERS!!
Britt and I at Rio Tinto after the banquet for the Top of the Mountain Bowl
Lisa and I!!! Not sure why I have a stupid look on my face :( But I love this woman! We got together a lot during the season and were kind of each others support system when our husbands were gone! I admire her so much and am very blessed to have her friendship! Thanks Lisa love you!!
These are the defense coaches and I have really enjoyed getting to know them and being around them! They are a great bunch of guys!
Britt is happy to have his first season as the DC (Defensive Coordinator) over with and is looking forward for next season :) He will be recruiting, preparing for spring ball, and teaching classes at the college so he will still be pretty busy but who isnt!!!
I am loving being at home with Kaydence!! Its great to have time to fix meals, play games with her and catch up on my reading! Since being home I have read many book series, taught myself how to crochet (thanks to you tube haha) and much more. I do miss teaching a little but then I just have to remind myself how hard it was to leave Kaydence and I'm ok :)
Kaydence is learning so much and growing up way too fast! She jabbers all day long and is starting to make sense! haha! She LOVES cows, puppies and meows :) if she sees any of these animals she repeats the name until you know what shes seen! She loves going to my parents farm! She loves all the cows and always wants to go see them and all the cats my grandma has :) Since its gotten a lot colder and I mean A LOT its been hard keeping her in the house because we were always going for walks and to the park. Thank goodness she will watch a movie and since the beginning of December she plays with this Little People Nativity scene and it is soo cute! She is a very good pretender and I can already tell she has a great imagination! Im so excited she is staring to do this because I feel kids are losing this and not really allowed to pretend play :) Her hair is slowly getting longer!! I'm excited to do all these cute hair dos I keep seeing! Grow hair grow!

Till we meet again...

This morning I found out that my Grandpa Munns had passed away... Its one of those bitter/sweet situations. He was ready to return to our Heavenly Father, but we will miss him dearly! What a great reunion it will be with his three children!! My uncle Terry, Aunt Jody, and Aunt Becky!!!
My grandpa was such a great grandpa! I remember sitting out on hot summer days eating watermelon and having seed spitting contests, riding in his farm truck around town, how much he enjoyed Lawrence Welk, and many many more! I also remember playing over at their house and if he was sitting in his chair everytime we would walk by he would make a sound like he was going to snatch you up! I enjoyed listening to his war stories and any other story he would tell me! I am so glad I got a 4 generation picture this summer at our family reunion! We love you and will miss you Grandpa Eldon!!!

Caught RED handed!!!

So I was upstairs cleaning the bath tub before her bath tonight and when I came downstairs I find a red Kaydence! Yep I typed it right, she was covered in RED ink. Because we are moving I am in the process of cleaning out my classroom so i brought alot of things home to pack. Well in an open box, there were all my ink pads and stamps so of course she had to grab the teacher one not the washable kid one!
Let me just tell you what the ink pad says: Acid Free (well good) Dries quickly (not so good) Non-Toxic ( really good) Fade Resistant (are you kidding me?) Easy Clean Up (ha not so much) so after alot of screaming, alot of scrubbing, and alot of laughing, the red has faded to a pink color... So glad church is tomorrow :) going to be fun explaining this over and over again :(
Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

She didnt want me to take her picture... I wonder why? She was actually saying "no no no" while i was taking it!

"Maybe if I act cute she wont get mad"

So glad she thought it was funny :P

Really glad I had taken off her dress! Yikes!

Literally caught RED handed!
